Hi, my name is Murat Can Üste.

About Me Link to this heading

I am a Senior Software/DevOps/MLOps engineer currently working at Recogni, and previously at PreciBake. My key areas of expertise encompass bridging development and operations, designing and implementing CI/CD workflows, establishing and maintaining on-premises Kubernetes clusters, and orchestrating deployments through CI/CD pipelines, GitOps, Terraform, Ansible/AWX, and etc.

Prior to this, I studied Master’s in Informatics at TUM with a focus on Computer Vision, Robotics, and High Performance Computing. During my studies, I worked as a Software Engineer at the Chair of Robotics, Artificial Intelligence, and Real-time Systems, where I played an instrumental role in developing the innovative CommonRoad platform, enabling the creation, evaluation, testing, and visualization of motion planning algorithms designed for autonomous vehicles.

Before starting my Master’s degree, I worked as a Software Engineer at Linovi, dedicating a year to developing highly scalable systems for integrating multiple third-party platforms into the Google Chat platform.

I completed my Bachelor’s studies in Computer Engineering at Ege University prior to my position at Linovi. During my studies, I worked as a Software Engineer (Student Assistant) at the Institution on Drug Abuse, Toxicology, and Pharmacological Science for 2 years, where I worked on the development and maintenance of the Inventory Management System and Patient Tracking System. Furthermore, I did an internship at Technische Hochschule Mittelhessen as a Software Engineer, where I contributed to Joomla CMS integrations and the development of a CI/CD status monitoring and visualization application for Jenkins.

Throughout my academic journey, professional career, and personal pursuits, I have dedicated my efforts to an array of Computer Science disciplines. These include but are not limited to Machine Learning and Deep Learning, Computer Graphics, Computer Vision, Visualization, GUI application development, micro-services, distributed systems, and DevOps. My exploration across these domains has illuminated my strong passion for automation, driving my choice to pursue and excel in DevOps roles. While my focus remains on automation and DevOps, I continue to engage with various topics through personal projects, maintaining a well-rounded skillset.
